Mr. Chicken Of Redford: Savor the Best Broasted Chicken and Ribs in Michigan

The chicken tastes great, with flavor all the way to the bone. I have been here 3 times, and the chicken was perfect all 3 times. In my opinion, broasted chicken is better than fried chicken. This is the best chicken restaurant in Redford. Thank you, Michelle.

My friends and I came out to Redford to eat at another Restaurant. Sadly, we discovered BET & Jessie's Fish and Chips was out of business. I got on yelp and found Mr. Chicken. I saw that they had been around since 1972. So, we decided to check it out. We arrived, and we got seated. Our waitress Riley was delightful. My buddy Craig and I had the fish and broasted potatoes. Paul had chicken breast and broasted potatoes. The food was amazing. I also want to point out I am not a big fan of coleslaw, but I have to say theirs was yummy. When we were leaving, they thanked us for coming. Great place if you have not tried this place, you are missing out. I will be going back

Best fried chicken in town hands down. Small family vibe, hands on food. Highly recommended if you're finicky about your fried chicken.

My partner and I have been living in Redford for 13 yrs. 1st time here. We found out about Mr. Chicken from another reviewer on Google Maps. My partner had The Broasted Chicken Snak. It comes with choicle of potatoe,slaw,roll. I had The Chicken Tenders Sandwich. It comes with the choice of potatoes,slaw My sandwich was good. It had Mayo & BBQ sauce on it. It just needed cheese & pickles. My broasted potatoes were nothing spectacular until I put alot of salt & BBQ sauce. That made them. Coleslaw awesome. Reminded me of My Grandma's coleslaw. Finely chopped,creamy My partners Broasted Breast was nice and juicy crispy. They know how to do their Chicken. My partner fries were evenly fried,hot,crispy but needed salt. Service was quick,friendly. Provided by Ryan. They also carry Pepsi products. A plus for me. Restaurant atmosphere felt comfortable,inviting,friendly. Old onside thou.

Phenomenal broasted chicken! I love a good broasted breast and it can be hard to find a place that 1. Cooks them perfectly to maintain juiciness, and tenderness and 2. Can be bought as part of their own meal. This place checks both boxes!!! Will stop here when in the area!

Best chicken and Cole slaw around!! My family has been going here since before I was born. The decor is a bit outdated but the people and food are amazing

Me and my family have been going to Mr Chicken for over 20 years and they have never let us down. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of making it happen right for all these years

The staff was very pleasant and kind. The chicken was hot and crispy. I wasn’t a fan of the coleslaw but my husband liked it, but I’m not really a fan of any coleslaw so I may not be the best judge an Anyhow, You have to specifically ask for napkins, utensils, hot sauce and ketchup but they didn’t charge me for them. The place could use some updating and renovations. It’s not the prettiest place but the chicken was really good. I enjoyed the chicken so much I came back the next day. … and the prices went up a bit from the most recent menu I saw online…but again what hasn’t gone up in this economy.
